How Creators Are Growing Quickly

Whats up creators! (Or aspiring creators)

I have some news for you, can be good or bad depending on your stance. AI is here. You can either embrace it and use it to your advantage or ignore it and have your competitors take advantage of it. AI has become a powerful tool that can really help our social media journeys. I have a poll at the bottom of this email that I need your help with as well…

I’ve been using AI in 2 different ways.

1. Thumbnails (for this newsletter)

2. Content Topics/Hooks

For thumbnails, I am using midjourney. Midjourney is about $100 for a year and it is well worth the money. It’s used through discord and all I have to do is describe what I want my thumbnail to look like. It takes me about 3-5 minutes to get a thumbnail. Now if I want to get really specific, I’ll take the image into canva to spice it up some more. Here’s the actual prompt I used to make the thumbnail for this newsletter:

It gives me 4 options and then I chose to go with the top right one.

For content topics and hooks, I use chat GPT. Im still constantly trying to get better with prompts but here’s one I’ve used to come up with content ideas and hooks:

“Pretend you are a social media event and have the opportunity to ask one of the expert speakers anything you want. What 10 questions would you ask?”

Chat GPT will then give you 10 questions. To spice it up even more, lets get more specific and then type in “ask outrageous questions”.

This resulted in a few answer but I’ll share the one that intrigued me the most. The question said “If social media platforms were an animal, which would it be?”

Now this is a silly question but let me show you my thought process…

In my opinion, Social media platforms are unpredictable in this sense:

The same video might get 100 views on YT shorts, 2000 views on tiktok, but on IG Reels it got 500,000 views. Same video…same style of content (short form)…but completely different results…unpredictable.

I then went to google and typed in “most unpredictable animals”. The one that stood out to me was the black mamba. This is PERFECT for a hook. People resemble the black mamba with Kobe. Using famous names, brands, etc is great for hooks since most people know of that subject.

Most people would say:

“Here’s how the black mamba is similar to social media”

Instead, I would add some more curiosity:

“The black mamba and social media have something in common most content creators don’t know about”

1. Black Mamba = most people know the resemblence

2. Social Media = important to those who create content

3. Don’t know about = Curiosity/emotion
