This Absurd Purchase Made Him Millions

Would you take this risk?

I read something in the book “The Diary Of A CEO: The 33 Laws of Business And Life” by Steven Bartlett” that was pretty crazy and is related to content because it drew a ton of attention…

Steven bought a giant blue slide for $16,000 for his office.

He didn’t buy it for marketing purposes, but it ended up being just that.

News stations and media outlets heard about it and wanted to interview him because of that.

His business grew SO much because of that blue slide.

He talks about how absurdity sells and normality doesnt.

Now I’m not saying you should go buy a giant blue slide, but doing absurd things can draw more attention to you.

There are TONS of ways to do that.

The other day, I saw a reel of someone who’s hook for his video was someone cracking an egg on him.

it was a talking head video, and the video provided good info.

The egg had no correlation to the video, it was just a good hook because i was expecting to see other crazy weird stuff.

The creator, none the less, got me to stay on the video because of that.

Another example could be something like Andrew Tate.

He is always saying absurd things in his videos to get attention.

I don’t think I need to give examples for this one 😂

You don’t need to spend thousands to be absurd, but it’s sometimes just a simple mind shift you need to inspire you for your next video.

As Always,

Happy Creating!
